Robot No.1 Workshop has nearly 10,000 students from around the world participated in thousands of robotics competitions, innovation competitions, and programming competitions. Robot No.1 also continuously maintains the leading achievement as the first, second and third winners in world-wide competitions at all levels.
This school is designed for a systematic interdisciplinary learning, covering the K-12 system of elementary, middle and high school. Supported by the interdisciplinary knowledge systems such as physical-
mechanical structural design, sensor and intelligent electronics, mechanical manufacturing, design and application of open-source hardware, intelligent home, multimedia robot design, automatic control and innovation and development of makers' works, students can build a complete competition system on artificial intelligence science and robotics, as well as application and innovation. Teaching products include international mainstream robot education equipment, apparatus and teaching methods, integrating with the global artificial intelligence education.
This school, in combination with the introductory programming course of MIT and the basic programming course of Carnegie Mellon University, aims at developing the most efficient programming language teaching materials, from graphical programming to machine learning and algorithms of Arduino, C++, and Python systems. At the same time, it utilizes the world’s most popular open-source hardware for creative programming, enabling students to quickly use the software programming and hardware equipment, training the future “hackers”.
This school is set for the core learning stage of scientific and technological innovation and invention, so as to maximize the integration of robot manufacturing, engineering, programming, design and production tools application, exploring the unknown world. It is also aiming at independent research and development of projects and the production of makers' works, thus carrying out independent research and exploration of new technologies in the project-driven form. With the help of the most cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology, it aims to perform the project production and material analysis independently, focusing on team division and collaboration, innovative thinking, building and research capabilities discovering for the cultivation of the makers with true innovation and interdisciplinary abilities.
Robot No 1 Education & Technology Inc. has established the Non-For Profit Organization - The Canadian Association of AI Education, and also has designated entrepreneurship mentors to specially provide funding for the formation and operation of scientific and technological entrepreneurship and business teams of secondary school students. In 2019, it had sponsored the Toronto Robotic Society, set up by high school students to put into operation and the Nexus Robotics Program. At the same time, the Canadian Association of Artificial Intelligence Education will recruit makers' teams from the society and incubate science and technology patent projects.
1. Organization members of the 2019 First Nexus Robotics Program
2. Technical research carried out by mentors and members of the Entrepreneurship Team of High School Students
3. The Entrepreneurship Team of High School Students wins in various competitions
